OJSC  is one of the biggest  knitwear manufacturersin Ukraine. The company, founded in early sixties, during last fifteen years was fully re-equipped with modern European hi-tech equipment.

The company’s philosophy is based on engineering competence, professionalism, reliability principals. The marketing policy is aimed at mutually beneficial co-operation with taking in consideration personal demands of up-to-date outwear market.
The company makes efforts to understand and satisfy personal customer demands.
Nowadays, there are nearly 370 people employed. Knitting machines, in classes from 3 to 12, include 55 program controlled flat knitting machines, produced by Stoll (Germany), 15 circular fabric machines produced by Jumberka (Spain) fully satisfy up-to-date knit outwear market demands for woman, men and kids. Sewing equipment produced by Juki, Brother, Textima, Duerkopp allow to apply the newest sewing technologies to knit outwear.
Production capacity is estimated at one million units of knit outwear per year.

The main OJSC Sophia activities are as follows:

1. knitwear models production for internal market from domestic and imported raw materials;

2. knitting, sewing and export delivery of knit outwear made from customers raw materials on co-operation conditions with foreign customers;

3. production of advertising production on order;

4. knitwear production for internal market made from customers' raw materials.

Product mix includes women, men, kids’ jumpers, waistcoats, cardigans, coats, scarves, caps, etc. Co-operation with such European countries as Germany, France, Spain and others, approve high quality of produced outwear.
Besides, the company constantly designs and refreshes own knit outwear models which are sold in brand-name shops and big stores in Ukraine under own trademarks , , .
